A little time has gone past since my last post, I'm going to do my best to outline our timeframes to date.
  • Home Purchased: 14th February 2016
  • Tenants Moved In: 1st July 2016
  • Initial Deposit: 13th August 2016
  • Colour Browse: 3rd September 2016
  • Colour Selections: 16th January 2017
  • Tender: 17th February 2017
  • Underground Power Pit (United Energy) Quote Requested: 20th February 2017
  • Asset Protection Permit Application: 4th April 2017
  • Application to Extend width of Crossover: 2nd April 2017
  • Underground Power Pit Quote Recieved: 12th April 2017
  • Asset Protection Permit Recieved: 18th April 2017
  • Underground Power Pit Ordered: 21st April 2017
  • Contract Signed, Sealed & Delivered: 4th May 2017
  • Underground Power Pit Installed: 19th May 2017
  • Report & Consent Dispensation Application: 9th June 2017
  • Tenants Vacated: 9th June 2017
  • Gas Abolishment (Multinet Gas) Ordered: 9th June 2017
  • Power Abolishment (United Energy) Ordered: 9th June 2017
  • Engaged Independent Building Inspectors (Darbecca): 13th June 2017
  • Power Abolishment Completed: 16th June 2017
  • Gas Abolishment Completed: 10th July 2017
  • Report & Consent Dispensation Rejected: 19th July 2017
  • Report & Consent Dispensation Amendment Submitted: 31st July 2017
Seriously feels like the longest journey already and we haven't even started building! Whilst the tenants were happy to move out ahead of their 12 month lease, we had some setbacks with our council application which have taken up far too much time - had we have known this might be the case we would have pushed our builder to work through these much earlier in the process.
